Cameron Conaway is a former MMA fighter and the author of 5 books, including a memoir, Caged, that was praised by creative nonfiction pioneer Dinty W. Moore, and a poetry collection, Malaria, Poems, that was named a Best Book of 2014 by NPR.
He has covered important international issues such as sex trafficking in Cambodia, global health crises in India, and inspiring new education models in Ethiopia. His work has been published in Harvard Business Review, Newsweek, The Washington Post, Stanford Social Innovation Review, and The Guardian, among others.
