Episode 12: Amanda Miska with a reading from Constance Renfrow

Editor-in-Chief Amanda Miska discusses Split Lip's transition as a press and literary journal over the last twelve months. Also featured in this episode is Constance Renfrow's short story from the upcoming anthology Songs of My Selfie (Three Rooms Press, April 2016). 


About the Guests:

Amanda Miska is a writer living in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She is Publisher and Editor of Split Lip Magazine + Press. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from American University. Her fiction and non-fiction have appeared in dozens of print and online literary journals, and you can read them and find out more than you ever wanted to know at her website, amandamiska.com.

Constance Renfrow is a New-York-based writer and editor. She is the lead editor for Three Rooms Press and a freelance editor and writing coach. She recently launched an open mic series at the Merchant's House Museum, where is a volunteer graphic designer and costumed performer. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in places such as Cabildo Quarterly, Denim Skin, Petrichor Machine, Restless, and Two Cities Review, and her articles have been featured on DIY MFA and LitroNY, among others. A lover of nineteenth century literature, she's currently completing a three-volume governess novel, her first full-length work.
